Monetary Authority

The Monetary Authority warns consumers to beware of fraudulent website www.ibaonlineservice.com.

It looks similar to the official website of the former International Bank of Asia, now Fubon Bank (Hong Kong). It today clarified it has no connection with the bogus site and has reported the case to Police.

Anyone who has provided personal information to the site or has conducted any financial transactions through it should contact Fubon Bank at 2566 8181 or Police on 2860 5012.

Internet banking safety tips are available here. For a list of authorised institutions under the authority's supervision click here.
