Pedestrian killed in Kwun Tong accident

A 38-year-old man was killed last night after he was reportedly knocked down by a light goods vehicle in Kwun Tong.

 

Just after 7pm, a 49-year-old man was driving the van along Kwun Tong Road towards Mong Kok when it struck the man as he was crossing the road near No 392 Kwun Tong Road.

 

The man was sent to United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at about 2am.

 

Kowloon East's special traffic investigation team is following up. Anyone who saw the accident or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on  2305 7500.
