At about 9.30am, a 27-year-old employee of an electronic company returned to her office on No. 188 San Wan Road and found the iron grille pried open with signs of ransacking in the office. A window was also damaged.

A total of 42 boxes of integrated circuit chips for mobile phones worth about $11.7 million were discovered missing.

Tai Po District Crime Squad is investigating the case.
