Man killed in Kowloon City taxi accident

Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Kowloon City this morning in which an 80-year-old man was killed.

 

At about 7.35am, a taxi knocked the man down as he was crossing the road at the junction of Ma Tau Chung Road and Ma Tau Kok Road.

 

Sustaining serious head injuries, he was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 8.40am.
