*
Hong Kong Police

Police have charged a 34-year-old man they caught trying to burgle a university at Sha Tin on April 11. He is believed to be behind 21 burglaries on campus since last year.

Officers arrested him at 10.30pm on Monday and found 105 keys marked with room numbers in his car boot.

Under surveillance since March, Police found the man gained entry by stealing the keys in unattended rooms, then came back after hours to commit the burglaries.

Property stolen included mobile phones, notebook computers, digital cameras and video cameras valued at about $630,000.

He will appear in the Shatin Magistrates Courts tomorrow.
