Police are investigating the death of a 51-year-old nightshift caretaker of a Mong Kok Road hostel, found bound in one of the unoccupied rooms and with adhesive tape covering her mouth and nose.

Her colleague called Police about 8am after noticing she was missing, along with money from the till.

Police believe she suffocated, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow.
