ICAC

Six people, including a Police sergeant, arrested for allegedly tipping off Mong Kok vice premises on law enforcement action, have been charged in separate cases.

Leung Choi, 46, faces a count of conspiracy to offer advantages to a public servant, alleging he conspired with two vice operators of vice establishments to receive money to provide information on Police raids or Immigration Department enforcement.

Five others were charged in separate cases - Goh Chee-keong, 33, the keeper of a vice establishment, and pimps Lam Man-lung, 33, Kwong Shiu-yu, 36, Chan Yuen-fai, 47, and Li Wing-sum, 27.

They face seven vice and drug-related charges for offences allegedly occurring between August last year and May. They have been released on bail.

Goh, Lam, Kwong, Chan and Li will appear in Kowloon City Magistracy on November 17, while Leung's case will be mentioned at the same magistracy on November 29 for transfer to the District Court.
