Man dies in Cheung Sha Wan accident

Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan in which a 47-year-old man was killed on Friday morning.

 

Just before 6.14am, a coach travelling westbound on Cheung Sha Wan Road reportedly knocked down the man as he was crossing the road near Cheung Wah Street.

 

He sustained head injuries and was rushed to the Caritas Medical Centre. He was certified dead at about 3.15pm.

The special traffic investigation team for Kowloon West is investigating the cause of the accident.

 

Police appeal to members of the public who might have seen the accident to contact the investigating officers at 2773 5220.
