Two die in Mong Kok crash

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Mong Kok in which a 23-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were killed.

 

At about 4.45am, the woman was driving a motorcycle along Lin Cheung Road heading for Kwai Chung when she reportedly lost control and rammed the kerb near Hoi Fai Road roundabout.

 

Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman and her passenger were rushed to Caritas Medical Centre. She was certified dead at 6.08am; he died at 3.23pm.

 

The Special Investigation Team for Traffic in Kowloon West is investigating.
