*
Highways Department

The Highways Department is inviting tenders for retrofitting noise barriers on Tsing Tsuen Bridge at the Tsing Yi and Tsuen Wan approaches.

The works comprise the retrofitting of about 1,500-metre noise barriers on Tsing Tsuen Bridge at Tsing Yi and Tsuen Wan approaches; associated road, drainage, geotechnical, street lighting and landscaping works as well as implementing an enviromental monitoring and audit programme.

The project will start in September and take about 42 months to complete, including a 12-month period for landscaping works to be established.

Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong Limited, appointed by the Highways Department's major works project management office, has designed the work and will supervise construction.
