e-Park cards to cease November 21
*
Transport Department

All parking meters will be Octopus-operated by November 21, the Transport Department says. Payment by e-Park card will no longer be accepted at the department's 13 multi-storey carparks and their sale will cease that day.

Holders can refund the card's remaining value at the 23 e-Park card refund outlets. From now until November 20, applications for e-Park card refunds with a remaining balance of $80 or less will be settled by cash. If the remaining balance exceeds $80, the refund will be made by cheque and mailed to the applicant.

From November 21, each e-Park card refund application of $1,000 or less will be settled by cash. If it exceeds $1,000, a refund will be made by cheque. The arrangement will continue until next November.

e-Park card holders can also consider donating cards with remaining value to the Community Chest. For details, click here.

Enquiries about the conversion scheme and refund arrangements can be made on 2318 0616.
