All parking meters will be Octopus-operated by November 21, the Transport Department says. Payment by e-Park card will no longer be accepted at the department's 13 multi-storey carparks and their sale will cease that day.
Holders can refund the card's remaining value at the 23 e-Park card refund outlets. From now until November 20, applications for e-Park card refunds with a remaining balance of $80 or less will be settled by cash. If the remaining balance exceeds $80, the refund will be made by cheque and mailed to the applicant.
From November 21, each e-Park card refund application of $1,000 or less will be settled by cash. If it exceeds $1,000, a refund will be made by cheque. The arrangement will continue until next November.
