The Transport Department is inviting operators to run five new green minibus routes in Kowloon and the New Territories.

Selection will be made according to applicants' management capability, vehicle quality, financial resources, customer services and proposed fares.

A selection board comprising representatives from the department, the Transport Advisory Committee, the Environment, Transport & Works Bureau, and the Home Affairs Department will assess the applicants.

The Independent Commission Against Corruption will send an observer to oversee the selection.

Application forms are available at:

* the Transport Department Headquarters, 41st Floor, Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai;

* the Transport Department New Territories Regional Office, 7th Floor, Mong Kok Government Offices, 30 Luen Wan Street, Kowloon; and,

* all Transport Department licensing offices.

Completed forms should be placed in the tender box at the department's headquarters by noon on May 6. Applications by any other means or late applications will not be considered.
