York Chow studies German stem cell therapy
*

Secretary for Food & Health Dr York Chow visited Hannover today to learn from Germany's experience in clinical trial and stem cell therapy.

Hannover Clinical Trial Centre's Chief Executive Officer Professor von der Leyen told Dr Chow about the work of the centre, which was founded in 2005 to offer an excellent record of clinical studies on a wide therapeutic range.

He called on the Hannover Medical School's Cluster of Excellence in Regenerative Biology & Reconstructive Therapies to learn about the development of stem cell therapy in the country. The school runs research programmes integrating training with innovative interdisciplinary science and experimental as well as clinical medicine.
