Unsafe crossbow gun toy
No fun: The Customs & Excise Department warns this crossbow toy poses a safety hazard.
*

Customs officers have seized 50 sets of a crossbow toy which poses a safety hazard.

The Customs & Excise Department today warned parents about the toy which failed safety tests.

Its suction cups detached from its arrow bodies, posing a choking hazard.

The arrows also pose an injury risk if fired without the suction cups.

The department has served prohibition notices for the product under the Toys & Children's Products Safety Ordinance.
