Chief Executive Donald Tsang today visited facilities for the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games which will kick off on December 5.
He first saw the games' main operation centre at the Hong Kong Park Sports Centre. It will monitor the daily operations of all 23 venues throughout the games.
He later visited the Queen Elizabeth Stadium where two of the popular events table tennis and badminton will be held.
Hong Kong table tennis players Tang Peng paired up with Jiang Hua-jun to play Tie Ya-na and Ko Lai-chak in a mock mix-double match.
Mr Tsang concluded the tour by visiting to the stadium's doping control station where the games Chief Medical Officer Dr Julian Chang explained the procedures.
