Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department

Seven dead birds found recently have been confirmed H5N1 positive, the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department says.

They include three chickens and a duck collected on Lantau last week, the grey heron collected at Mai Po Nature Reserve on February 2, the peregrine falcon found near Long Beach Gardens in Ting Kau, and a chicken found on Butterfly Beach, Tuen Mun, on February 3. Click here for details.

Department officers inspected 82 villages today and no unauthorised keeping of poultry was found.
