HK Olympic volunteers commended
*

The Home Affairs Bureau has presented certificates to Hong Kong volunteers serving in the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games commending their outstanding services.

 

Speaking at the presentation ceremony today, Deputy Secretary for Home Affairs Grace Lui said the volunteers' dedication and selfless contribution left a good impression on athletes and audiences around the world.

 

She was also grateful to the Liaison Office for providing impeccable logistical support to Hong Kong's volunteers. She expressed her gratitude to the volunteer team leader and core leaders.

 

The 100 awardees, their relatives and friends were invited to visit the exhibitions held at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum free of charge, including the Ancient Olympic Games Exhibition.
