Vaccination subsidy registration opens
*
Centre for Health Protection

Private doctors interested in the Influenza Vaccination Subsidy Scheme should register with the Centre for Health Protection from tomorrow.

A guide introducing the enrolment procedure is available here. Doctors should mail completed application forms and documents to the centre.

The scheme will run November 1 to the end of March. Each eligible child is entitled to a subsidy of $80 per dose of flu vaccine from enrolled doctors. Parents are required to pay the remaining fee after the $80 subsidy is discounted.

Children between six months and six years old with Hong Kong resident status, and those aged six or above but attending kindergartens or childcare centres, are eligible for the subsidy.

Doctors who have enrolled in the scheme will display the scheme logo at their clinics. Clinic addresses and telephone numbers, and prices for flu vaccination, will be posted on the scheme's website.

An enquiry hotline, 2125 2125, will run 9am to 5.30pm weekdays.
