Man arrested in illicit food factory raid

Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

A man has been arrested in a Food & Environmental Hygiene Department raid on an unlicensed food factory in Yuen Long.

 

Officers raided the factory in an outdoor car park in Ma Tin Tsuen this morning, arresting the man and seizing 110kg of pig offal.

 

The department said it will take stringent enforcement action against unlicensed food businesses to safeguard food safety and public health. To report such illegal activities call 2868 0000.
