Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating two food poisoning cases involving 35 people.

Four males and 10 females aged five to 45 developed gastroenteritis symptoms after eating snacks at a school fair on April 26. Thirteen sought treatment from a private hospital while one was admitted to hospital and is in stable condition.

Meanwhile, six men and 15 women aged 19 to 54 fell ill after having meals from a food supplier in their office April 25.

Three sought treatment at Tuen Mun, Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole and Tseung Kwan O Hospitals. No hospitalisation was required. Fourteen others sought treatment from private and public clinics.
