The Centre for Health Protection received no new reports of influenza cases today under the surveillance arrangement with private and public hospitals.

Of the 23 reported cases so far, 14 patients have been discharged and the remainder are still in hospital.

The centre's telephone hotline has so far received 230 calls. It will continue to operate 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday except public holidays. Click here for the updated flu situation.
