Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported Dengue fever case involving a 62-year-old Southern District man, bringing this year's total to 13.

He travelled to Indonesia June 25 to July 5, and came down with fever and tiredness on July 11. He was sent to a private hospital on July 15. His condition is stable.

Hong Kong saw 31 Dengue fever cases last year, all imported. Click here for prevention tips. The latest information on Dengue fever in other places can be found here.
