Flower power: So Shing-yan's work has won the Flower Show's Portrait of TVB Artistes and Miss Hong Kong Open Section.

Winning entries in the 2007 Hong Kong Flower Show photo contest are on display in Kowloon Park until July 31.

The competition was divided into three categories, attracting more than 5,100 entries. So Shing-yan was named winner of Portrait of TVB Artistes and Miss Hong Kong Open Section and Cheung King-yue from the City University was the winner of the Student Section. For Flowers and Snapshots categories, the first prizes went to Benny Chan and Luk Chiu-key.

Winning entries include impressive photographs of beautiful flowers and plants in the garden displays.

The exhibition is being staged at the park's green education and resource centre until July 6. It will be moved to the park's arcade on July 8 and end on July 31. Winning entries can also be viewed here.
