Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho has congratulated the Hong Kong team for winning four more medals - one gold, two silver and a bronze - in the table tennis and snooker events at the Doha Asian Games.

Table tennis players Li Ching and Ko Lai-chak snatched a gold medal in the men's doubles while Tie Ya-na and Zhang Rui won silver in the women's doubles. Li Ching won bronze in the men's singles.

Marco Fu, Chan Wai-ki, and Fung Kwok-wai won a silver medal in the snooker men's team final.

"We are very much impressed by the remarkable performance of the Hong Kong delegation. We are all proud of their unfailing efforts to do their best in the games," Dr Ho said.

So far, the Hong Kong team has won nine medals - two gold, three silver and four bronze.
