New Tin Shui Wai library opens
*
Thomas Chow opens new library in TSW
Convenient service: Director of Leisure & Cultural Services Thomas Chow returns books through the library's book drop.
*

The new Tin Shui Wai North Public Library opened today, giving locals a new source of reading and learning facilities.

Located at Shop 313 in the Tin Chak Shopping Centre at Tin Chak Estate, the 494-square-metre library houses more than 50,000 items.

Its facilities include an adult lending library, a children's library, a quick reference collection, a newspapers and periodicals area and an activities room.

It also has online public access catalogue terminals to help readers search library catalogues and computer workstations to access the Internet and use the library's electronic resources.

To enhance customer services, the library will have  ambassadors on hand to help readers use the new self-help service and electronic facilities.

The library is open from 9am to 8pm from Tuesdays to Fridays, from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays, and from 9am to 1pm on Sundays and public holidays. It is closed on Mondays.

For enquiries, call 3741 0646.
