Flu vaccine programme to launch in Nov
*
HPC logo (Eng version)

The annual government influenza vaccination programme will start on November 6 and carry on through the end of the year, according to the Centre for Health Protection.

The programme will provide free flu vaccinations to the target group as recommended by the Scientific Committee on Vaccine Preventable Diseases. It includes seniors with chronic illnesses or who are receiving welfare benefits.

The Department of Health has ordered 300,000 doses, 50,000 doses more than last year's programme.  It also has a contingency order for an extra 90,000 doses.

For details of the vaccination programme, call 2575 2789 or click here.
