New HA structure creates jobs

Hospital Authority

The Hospital Authority's new management structure has created new job opportunities, with some new posts being formed in the coming weeks, its Chief Executive Shane Solomon says.

Most of the new posts will be filled by managers already working in the authority's head office, but the roles will be different, he said. The change, which takes effect November 1, involves changing the roles and focus of staff.

At the senior executive level, two new posts - Director of Quality & Safety/Chief Medical Officer, and Head of Corporate Services - have been created.

Mr Solomon said to make significant changes in a complex organisation like the authority's head office takes time and some initial disruption. Click here to see the new structure.
