The Centre for Health Protection is investigating the food poisoning of 16 people who ate at a Mong Kok hotel.
The four men and 12 women, aged 32 to 61, came down with diarrhoea, abdominal pain, vomiting and fever after a lunch buffet on July 22.
Ten sought treatment from private doctors or public hospitals. One was admitted to Yan Chai Hospital. All are stable.
Initial investigations indicate a bacterial outbreak. Further checks are underway.
