The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed another enterovirus-71 case involving a nine-month-old boy, bringing the year's total to 12.

He has been residing on the Mainland and returned to Hong Kong for medical treatment. He developed fever, blisters and oral lesions on July 8 and was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 9. He has recovered and was discharged on July 12.
