Nine more patients in two public hospitals have developed diarrhoea or vomiting symptoms, the Hospital Authority says.
They include four women in Haven of Hope Hospital and five in Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. Aged 29 to 92, they are in stable condition and are being treated in isolation.
Some have tested positive for Norovirus. Results for the rest are pending.
The cases have been reported to the authority's Head Office and the Centre for Health Protection. Infection control measures have been stepped up in the wards.
