The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a case of Legionnaires' disease in which a 69-year-old man is fighting for his life.
He came down with fever, cough and shortness of breath on June 9. He was admitted to Queen Mary Hospital on June 16 and is now in critical condition.
He travelled to the Mainland before getting sick. His family have no symptoms.
The case brings the number of victims so far this year to nine. There were 11 last year.
