The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed a case of Legionnaires' disease involving a 74-year-old woman living in Central & Western District, the fourth case this year.
The patient developed fever, cough, and muscle pain on April 15. She was admitted to Queen Mary Hospital on May 7. She is now in stable condition.
She has no recent travel history and her family members have no symptoms.
Eleven cases of Legionnaires' disease were reported last year.
