The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an enterovirus-71 case involving a 10-year-old girl, bringing this year's total to two.
The girl had travelled to the Mainland earlier this month and developed ulcers in her mouth and a rash on her hands and feet on April 21. She has recovered and her parents have no signs of infection.
Her seven-year-old brother was confirmed to have EV-71 on April 25. The primary school where they are studying did not have other cases and is being put under medical surveillance.
