Temperature checks resume at Sha Tau Kok
*
Department of Health

Temperature screening of people arriving in Hong Kong at Sha Tau Kok and China Ferry Terminal checkpoints will be re-activated from November 25.

The Department of Health's Chief Port Health Officer Dr Henry Kong said infra-red thermo-imaging machines are ready at the immigration points.

Auxiliary Medical Service officers will screen travellers, and those with a high body temperature will be checked for fever. Those with a fever will be further assessed for symptoms of influenza and, if required, will be referred to hospitals.

Temperature screening will also be implemented at Man Kam To, the Hung Hom Through-Train Station and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal later.
