Blood donors to get a boost
*
Red Cross
Token of thanks: Donors who give blood December 12 to 31 will be given a hanging bag as a souvenir.
*

Donors who give blood during December will receive a heart-warming souvenir as a token of appreciation.

The move is part of the Red Cross' Let's Give Blood in Heart-warming Winter drive to boost blood donations.

Until December 11, blood donors will receive a photo frame-photo album, while for the rest of the month, they will be given a blood donation hanging bag.

The Red Cross has also organised a creative blood donation promotion video competition. Entrants are invited to submit Cantonese video clips before January 31. There will be secondary school and open sections. Enrolment forms and competition details (in Chinese) can be downloaded here.

The Red Cross also reminds the public that its Causeway Bay Donor Centre at 3/F, Radio City, 505 Hennessy Road will be temporarily closed on December 13 and 18 due to the special transport arrangements during the WTO 6th Ministerial Conference.
