HPC logo (Eng version)

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported case of Dengue fever, bringing this year's total to 28.

The patient is a 24-year-old woman who developed fever, muscle pain and tiredness on November 26. She was admitted to Tseung Kwan O Hospital on December 1 and has recovered. She travelled to Indonesia November 17 to 30.

The centre urges people to guard against the disease and prevent mosquito breeding.
