Kwai Chung Public Mortuary to open
*
Department of Health

Kwai Chung Public Mortuary will be fully operational from September 5. With a total storage capacity for 220 bodies, the new morgue is the largest public mortuary run by the Department of Health.

 

Located at Kwai Hei Street, the mortuary meets modern standards and protocols to ensure safe and efficient service. Kowloon Public Mortuary, with a capacity of 72, will be reserved for contingency use.

 

Meanwhile, the body storage capacity of the Fu Shun and Victoria Public Mortuaries is 168 and 60 respectively.
