Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Carrie Yau has held a meeting to discuss ways of helping the local food industry in promoting its quality products.

She highlighted the various Government initiatives implemented to boost the industry, and touched on how it will address the issue in future.

Though there are limitations to Hong Kong's agriculture and fisheries industry, the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department is committed to providing help to local farmers to foster the industry's high-value and sustainable development.
