Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho has commended Hong Kong's table tennis team for winning eight medals at the 17th Asian Table Tennis Championships in South Korea.

Lin Ling and Lau Sui-fei a gold and silver medal in the Women's Singles while Li Ching won a silver in the Men's Singles today.

Hong Kong's total tally is three gold, three silver and two bronze in seven events.

"Our team has excelled again in this important championship event," Dr Ho said, adding the awards are richly deserved.
