June 13 next poultry outlet rest day

*
Live chickens
Rest day: The next rest day for all poultry outlets is June 13.

The next rest day for all poultry outlets is June 13. All retailers must observe rest day conditions, and Food & Environmental Hygiene Department officers will inspect each outlet.

Operators of market stalls and fresh provision shops have to slaughter all live poultry remaining on the premises before noon, and suspend business in the afternoon and evening to conduct cleaning and disinfection.

Stall owners and licensees should not remove any live birds from their premises to avoid slaughtering unsold poultry. Failure to comply with rest day conditions will lead to licence cancellation and tenancy termination.
