Summer Fun Party
Happy days: Summer Fun Ambassadors will mingle at the Summer Fun Party offering face painting while roving characters dressed in different costumes will entertain carnival-goers.
*

As the summer holidays begin, a fun-filled Summer Fun Party featuring sports, arts and entertainment will be staged at Queen Elizabeth Stadium on July 14 & 15 to provide free entertainment for the whole family.

Part of the summer spectacular International Arts Carnival organised by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, the party will run from 4.30pm to 7.30pm on July 14 and from 2pm to 7.30pm on July 15.

On the first floor, there will be the "Summer Cool La La" zone with a magic show and story corner. Children will love the fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen and the magician's tricks.

The "Summer 1, 2, Cheers" zone in the basement comprises two programmes: "Let's Show Off" and the "Crazy Bouncer". "Let's Show Off" features a children's choir, woodwind ensemble performances, a clown, a magic show, the drama "Animal Olympics" and a rope-skipping demonstration. Children can let off some steam in the giant inflatable "Crazy Bouncer".

Summer Fun Ambassadors will mingle, offering face painting, while roving characters dressed in different costumes will entertain carnival-goers. A special marching band performance will be added to the party on the evening of July 14.

For programme enquiries, call 2591 1340.
