More than 81% of SARS patients sent home

Another SARS patient was sent home from hospital today, bringing to 1,430 the number of people that have recovered and been discharged.

 

There are 13 patients currently under active treatment in hospital. Of them, five are in intensive care. Two others are undergoing treatment for other diseases. Six patients who were confirmed not to have had SARS after blood tests will be removed from the list of confirmed cases at a later date.

 

Another 14 patients are recovering in convalescence, in preparation for discharge. 

 

There are no suspected cases.
