Reservoir-fishing licence applications open
*
Water Supplies Department

The Water Supplies Department advises anglers wanting to fish in local reservoirs in the coming fishing season to apply for a licence.

Reservoirs are open for fishing September 1 to March 31. The licence will be valid for three years at a fee of $24.

Anglers must observe licence rules and each licence is good for the use of only one rod and line. Boats, dinghies and rafts, and the use of nets or other fishing appliances are banned. Using explosive or toxic substances to catch or kill fish is strictly prohibited.

Applications can be made by post or at the department's Wan Chai or Mong Kok customer enquiry centres during office hours. Click here for details.
