Weather observation course to be held
*
HK Observatory

The Hong Kong Observatory will organise a weather observation training course in October.

Conducted by three experienced meteorologists from the observatory, the course will cover basic weather and cloud observation techniques.

The course is particularly suitable for people fond of outdoor activities. Participants will learn how to make effective use of the weather data available on the observatory's website and will observe conditions themselves under the guidance of observatory staff.

Scheduled for the mornings of October 11 and 25, the course will be conducted in Cantonese at the Hong Kong Observatory Headquarters from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The course fee is $225.
