The Labour Department will hold job fairs at Olympian City 2 September 29 and 30, offering more than 2,000 vacancies.

The first day will see 18 property management companies offering more than 1,000 vacancies for positions like technical officers, property officers, technicians, security guards and cleaners. About 88% of the vacancies are full-time jobs with the majority offering monthly salaries of $6,000 to $8,000. More than 90% require Form 5 education or below and 60% are open to jobseekers without experience.

The next day 24 retail companies will offer more than 1,000 vacancies, including those for shop managers, supervisors, sales people, cashiers and storekeepers. About 65% are full-time jobs offering monthly salaries of $6,000 to $8,000. Most require Form 5 education or below and about 40% are open to those without experience.

Applications can be submitted on the spot and on-site interviews may be conducted. The department will also conduct on-the-spot registration for jobseekers.
