Baptist U achieves holistic education
*

The Quality Assurance Council today released the audit report on Baptist University, showing the institute is achieving its goal of providing undergraduates with a liberal and holistic education through the concept of whole-person tuition.

The report focuses on learning experience quality and shows students clearly appreciate the university's educational goal.

Council chairman Philip Chen said: "The report has identified a number of good practices within the university. I am confident the university will build on its strengths and make continuous improvements for the benefit of its students."

In the light of the report's findings, the university has agreed to submit a preliminary plan within six months on its follow-up actions.

A panel appointed by the council undertook the quality audit on the university. It reviewed the submission the university prepared after a period of self-analysis. The panel visited the university to meet staff, students and other stakeholders such as the university's employers and graduates. Click here for details on the report.

The council helps the University Grants Committee provide third-party oversight in assuring the quality of programmes at first-degree level and above.
