Edmond Ko reappointed curriculum development chief
*

Edmond Ko has been reappointed chairman of the Curriculum Development Council for two years from September 1.

 

The council advises the Government on curriculum development from kindergarten to senior secondary education.

 

Newly appointed members are Anne Chan, Carol Chan, Chan Hoi-yan, Chan Wing-keung, Hau Kit-tai, Hau Sze-man, Ho Siu-yu, Ma Kwai-yung, Poon Siu-lan, Shi Mei-fong, Wong Kam-pui and Yeung Po-wah.

 

Nine serving members have been reappointed - Chan Tsang Kin-lok, Chow Kwok-ching, Jao Ming, Lai Kam-tong, Lee Wing-on, Lo Kin-ki, Mak Wai-ching, Yau Chung-wan and Yiu Sai-ming.

 

The vice-chairman is Principal Assistant Secretary for Education (Curriculum Development) Cheung Kwok-wah. Ex-officio members are Examinations & Assessment Authority Secretary General Francis Cheung and Education Bureau Quality Assurance Division Principal Inspector (Indicators) Mau Tung-shing.

 

Secretary for Education Michael Suen thanked the outgoing members for their contributions to the council. They are Mary James, Lai Shu-ho, Albert Lee, Lee Wai-fun, Leung Sai-wing, Siu Wing-hon, Tsang Chi-hung, Wong Lam and Yung Heung-hung.
