Chaired by Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Stephen Lam, the meeting was attended by National Development & Reform Commission officials and Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office representatives.
Their discussion focused on elevating some key elements of Hong Kong-Guangdong co-operation to the level of the National 12th Five-Year Plan through the implementation of the Outline of the Plan for the Reform & Development of the Pearl River Delta, with a view to soliciting Central Government support for the policies.
The Hong Kong Government attaches great importance to matters relating to the National 12th Five-Year Plan and has been maintaining close communication with the Central Government in taking forward the complementary work relating to the National 12th Five-Year Plan's preparation.
