Vice-President Xi Jinping will visit Hong Kong July 6 to 8 to see Hong Kong's progress in organising the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events and the city's latest developments.
Mr Xi will inspect the Equestrian Competition Events venues and receive relevant parties' reports.
The Hong Kong Government invited the state leader to pay the visit. Chief Executive Donald Tsang said today Hong Kong is greatly honoured to welcome the Vice-President, and looks forward to his encouragement and guidance on the equestrian events' preparatory work.
